South Cliff Gardens include The Rose Garden, Prince of Wales Gardens, Shuttleworth Gardens, The Spa Gardens  and the Italian Gardens. Covering most of South Cliff, they are packed with plants and flowers, and winding paths up and down the cliffs. The community building at Beeforth's Hive has plenty of events, including crafts, nature spotting, coffee mornings and family sessions - check out their website for more information.

The gardens are a perfect spot to relax with a picnic, walk the dog and take some great photos of the beautiful views. Dogs should be kept on leads in some areas - look out for the signs.
