ABOUT OUR TRAILS
We're so proud of our little town, and all it has to offer to both visitors and locals. We never get bored of living here, and want to share our knowledge of the parts of Scarborough we think you'll love just as much as we do.

That's why we've put together a number of walking trails, to help you explore on foot, learning about the nature, folklore, history and heritage. Get out in the fresh air, do a little exercise and discover why we think Scarborough is so great.

So whether you're looking for dog-friendly or vegan places to eat, great independent specialist shops such as antiques and vintage, eco-friendly gifts, pet shops - or something to do with the kids that doesn't cost a fortune, we've got you covered. HOW IT WORKS
1. PURCHASE YOUR TRAIL
Buy your trail access from the "Purchase A Trail" page
2. LOG IN
Make sure you're logged in with the account you set up when you bought the trail, and go to the start of the trail (links are at the bottom of the Purchase A Trail page)
3. DOWNLOAD THE MAP
Each trail comes with a map displaying the route - either download it to your device, print it out or follow along online. Various checkpoints will be marked out on the map, and each checkpoint has its own web page filled with information relevant to that location (the Fairy Trail is slightly different, it doesn't have checkpoints but has activities to do along the trail).
4. OFF YOU GO
Complete the trail as many times as you'd like, taking as long as you'd like. You'll have full access to the trail of your choice for the time specified on the purchase page (up to 14 days). You can quickly resume any trail, from any checkpoint by going to the "Resume Trail" page and selecting the location of your choice.
