One of the largest community managed woodlands in the country, Raincliffe woods has so much to discover. With several circular walks, Throxenby Mere and a whole host of community activities, whether you fancy a long walk in nature, feeding the ducks, a bit of fishing, learning bushcraft skills, or wildlife spotting, Raincliffe woods is a hidden gem loved by locals.

Dogs can be let off lead and allowed to roam, although there are resident deer, and small furries so please keep your dog on a lead if they have a high prey-drive.
